The tag will have some kind of contact information (like a phone number or an address) printed on it, along with the tag number. If you can read the contact information, use that to get in touch with the program directly. If you can't read the information on the tag, you can use our Tag Identification Tool to search for the program that might have put that tag out there. You can narrow down the results based on what species of fish you caught, what type and color of the tag, and where on the fish the tag was located.
